About Us
We are an intentional community of action & spirituality in Western North Carolina. We invite young adults in their twenties, who wish to serve their greater community to join us. We are dedicated to accompanying our neighbors, many already enacting change and fostering hope in the local community.
Our mission is to love God, self, and others through service and justice. Our intentional community creates space for young adults to deepen their spirituality and live simply so they may discern their vocational path and build leadership. We are a ministry of The Episcopal Diocese of WNC and follow the Way of Love--seeking to love others, self, and God.
The Core Pillars of our Program are:
serving others in solidarity
forming Beloved Community
deepening spirituality
vocational awareness
leadership formation
living simply
Blue Ridge Service Corps values and celebrates diversity in all of God’s creation, strives to build a service corps program reflective of Beloved Community, and commits to creating affirming space for all, particularly BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ persons. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, or ability.
The Core Values of our Program are:
Integrity | Courage | Discernment | Generosity | Compassion
