EVAN JOHNSON

Evan is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas but spent the last 4 years in Asheville as a student at UNC Asheville. During his time at UNCA he studied Environmental Management, was a part of Episcopal Campus Ministry, and played on the Ultimate Frisbee team. He is passionate about being outdoors and is an avid angler. Evan will be serving Habitat for Humanity during his service year with BRSC.

FLORA BROOKE

Flora is from Warren, Oregon but got to know North Carolina during her time as a student at Davidson College. She also attended Portland State University where she studied Liberal Studies with a minor in Judaic studies. She is passionate about LGBTQ+ advocacy and loves reading and listening to music, especially Bob Dylan. Flora will be serving at the Center for Spiritual Wisdom and the Sharing House during her time with BRSC.

MATTHEW CRAWFORD

Matthew is from Charlottesville, Virginia and attended the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. While in school, he studied Psychology with a minor in Social Justice. This will be his second year in a service corps program, as he joins us from Johnson Service Corps in the triangle area. He is passionate about music and singing, especially Episcopal hymns. Matthew will be serving at Church of the Advocate during his year with BRSC.

ERIS LOWDERMILK

Eris grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended Appalachian State University, where she studied English Literary Studied with a minor in applied linguistics, TESL, and Spanish. During her time at App State she was involved in Presbyterian-Episcopal Campus Ministry (PECM) and has attended Youth Conferences in the Diocese of WNC. Growing up on a farm, she is passionate about the environment and loves being outdoors. She will be serving Calvary Food Pantry in Fletcher, NC during her year with BRSC.
